PH3 Run No: 2427 Ah Guan & Margie Birthday Run

Today we have more than 100 plus members & guests coming together to celebrate the Birthdays of Eyu Guan Teh & Margie, two of our ardent hash members’ 60 shades of awesome major life milestone and marks the completion of a full zodiac cycle (60years). And certainly couldn’t get away with forgetting where the car keys or mobile phones are and calling it “selective memory”.
Turning 60 is not getting older but wiser, the age of confidence, you both have weathered storms, climbed mountains and gathered wisdom. It can be a moment to celebrate not just the years lived but the life still unfolding as transition to Senior. Maybe a few knee creaks but definitely wisdom.
There is not much to talk about the run as a few unwarranted checks have forcibly dismayed our mood of tackling the situation but it was a great celebration on the way back to the Songkran splendours of water splashing provided by the birthday gang, kudos and well done. Plenty of snacks food with ‘long-life’ fried mee, red hard-boiled eggs and sumptuous dinner at the On On at site with whiskeys and drinks. Not forgetting the two beautifully decorated birthday cakes to glaze these fabulous 60, where THEY can finally say, “I know who I am”- and mean it !!
To Ah Guan & Margie, Happy 60th Birthday– you wear it well and may your days ahead full of peace and still have plenty of road ahead.
